Aditya and his colleague were scheduled to fly from Delhi via Kolkata but inexplicably offloaded at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Kolkata\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kolkata\u2019s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport<\/a>. Forced to return to Delhi on another flight, Aditya, disgruntled and embarrassed, filed a complaint with the Consumer Commission upon reaching his Muzaffarpur home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air India\u2019s defense at the court hearing, claiming Aditya and his colleague lacked&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Thailand\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Thailand\u2019s&nbsp;<\/a>boarding pass and required COVID-19 vaccination certificates, was rejected by the Consumer Commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Commission reasoned that if passengers lacked the necessary documents, tickets should have been canceled upfront.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deboarding them in Kolkata without prior notice constituted a \u201cservice error,\u201d prompting the Commission to order Air India to compensate the passengers with the ticket price and applicable interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay tuned with us.
