TOULOUSE-<\/strong> Turkish Airlines (TK)<\/a>, T\u00fcrkiye’s national carrier, is set to bolster its fleet through an order for 220 Airbus<\/a> aircraft, consisting of 150 A321s, Airbus’ top-selling model, and 70 A350 <\/a>widebody aircraft renowned for their modernity and efficiency (comprising 50 A350-900s, 15 A350-1000s, and 5 A350F freighters). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This decision follows two previous orders placed by the airline, including ten A350-900s in September and four A350-900s in July 2023. With this latest order, Turkish Airlines’ comprehensive Airbus orderbook reaches 504, with 212 aircraft already delivered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With next-generation engines and Sharklets, the A321neo achieves a remarkable 50% reduction in noise, more than 20% fuel savings, and a significant reduction in CO\u2082 emissions compared to previous-generation single-aisle aircraft. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boasting the widest single-aisle cabin in the sky, this aircraft is ideal for maximizing passenger comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strong Demand<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

More than 5,600 A321neos have been ordered by a diverse customer base of over 100 worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The A350 stands as the most contemporary and efficient widebody aircraft globally, establishing itself as the long-range leader in the 300-410 seater category. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the ability to operate efficiently across short-haul to ultra-long-haul routes spanning up to 9,700nm, its clean sheet design incorporates cutting-edge technologies, advanced aerodynamics, lightweight materials, and state-of-the-art engines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This integration results in a 25% advantage in fuel burn, operating costs, and CO\u2082 emissions, along with a remarkable 50% reduction in noise compared to previous-generation competitor aircraft. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These features position the A350 as a considerate neighbor and a responsible global citizen in every location it serves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The A350 Family is available in two versions: the A350-900 and the extended fuselage A350-1000, both offering an unparalleled passenger experience even on the lengthiest flights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airbus A350F Order<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The A350F is equipped with the most extensive main deck cargo door and a fuselage length specifically tailored for cargo operations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It achieves a significant advantage by utilizing advanced materials for more than 70% of the airframe, coupled with the efficiency of Rolls-Royce engines, boasting a minimum of 20% lower fuel burn and CO\u2082 emissions compared to its nearest competitor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Turkish Airlines’ recent commitment, the A350F orderbook has now reached 50 orders from a total of nine customers, marking a notable endorsement and reaffirming its appeal since its introduction at the Dubai Airshow two years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
