LONDON-<\/strong> Agadir has recently been added to British Airways (BA)<\/a> route network from London Gatwick (LGW)<\/a>. Starting from March 31, 2024, the four-times-weekly flight will be operated by British Airways’ short-haul subsidiary at Gatwick, BA Euroflyer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agadir, now available for booking, becomes the second Moroccan destination on British Airways’ route map, joining Marrakech. This marks the first time in over a decade that Agadir has been included in British Airways’ offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

British Airways Agadir Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tom Stoddart, CEO of BA Euroflyer, expressed, “Agadir is a coastal destination boasting 300 days of sunshine annually, making it highly attractive to our leisure customers, especially those seeking holiday packages. It offers beaches, golf courses, water sports, and the chance to explore cultural landmarks such as Agadir Kasbah.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passengers will have the option of two cabins on each flight: Club Europe (business class) and Euro Traveller (economy). Euro Traveller customers receive a complimentary drink and snack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In contrast, Club Europe customers enjoy lounge access, a full meal service with bar drinks, priority boarding, and an additional baggage allowance included in their ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For travelers opting to depart from London Stansted next summer, a new premium airline choice emerges as British Airways returns to the north-east London airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commencing on May 18, 2024, weekend flights from London Stansted to Florence, Ibiza, and Nice will be introduced as part of BA Cityflyer\u2019s summer operations, utilizing its Embraer 190 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More Network Changes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

BA Cityflyer, a subsidiary of British Airways, normally operates from London City Airport during the week, serving nearly 30 short-haul destinations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The newly introduced Stansted services will complement the existing weekday services from London City and recently added weekend services from Edinburgh to San Sebastian, Spain, and Olbia, Sardinia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This marks the first time British Airways has provided scheduled flights from Stansted since before the global pandemic, making it the fourth London airport served by the flag carrier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each flight will feature two cabins: Club Europe (business class) and Euro Traveller (economy). Club Europe passengers can enjoy a full meal service with bar drinks, priority boarding, and an additional baggage allowance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flights to Florence start at \u00a341 each way, Ibiza at \u00a336 each way, and Nice at \u00a343 each way. The flights are now available for booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avios Long-Haul Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

British Airways (BA) has announced that its next Avios-Only flight will be headed to Dubai<\/a>, providing over 200 half-term return Reward Seats starting from just \u00a3100 + 60,000 Avios<\/a>. The flight is currently open for booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BA105 route from London Heathrow to Dubai is set to offer 214 Reward Seats across three cabins on October 26, 2024. The return flight, BA108, will be available a week later on November 2, 2024, offering 256 seats across four cabins, perfectly timed for a half-term getaway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This marks the airline’s inaugural long-haul Avios-Only flight, adding to a total of more than 30 destinations, including Geneva, Nice, Ibiza, and Corfu. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avios-Only flights, introduced earlier this year, exclusively reserve 100% of the seats for British Airways Executive Club Members as reward seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avios-only seats operate as regular Reward Seats, allowing customers with British Airways American Express Credit Cards to utilize Companion Vouchers. These vouchers provide Members with a second seat for just the taxes and charges or one seat for half the amount of Avios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reward Seats, purchasable using Avios at fixed rates, guarantee a minimum of 12 and 14 Reward Seats on standard short and long-haul flights, respectively. Avios-Only flights, however, make every seat available for purchase using Avios. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Miami Lounge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

British Airways is preparing to unveil a new lounge for its patrons departing from Miami International Airport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scheduled to launch in the first half of 2025, the lounge will showcase an entirely new design concept, becoming part of a network that includes over 20 exclusive British Airways airport lounges worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access to the lounge will be granted to passengers in the Club World (business class) or First cabin, Executive Club Members holding at least Silver status, and individuals with at least Sapphire oneworld status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
