NAGPUR-<\/strong> Airbus Helicopters<\/a> and Indamer have partnered to deliver advanced after-market services for helicopters in India<\/a>, marking a significant advancement for the rotary-wing Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO)<\/a> ecosystem in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorized by Airbus Helicopters, Indamer will conduct MRO services for Airbus helicopters at its Mumbai<\/a>, New Delhi<\/a>, and Nagpur facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nagpur facility was inaugurated today by Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, in the presence of Romain Trapp, Executive Vice-President of Customer Support and Services for Airbus Helicopters, Prajay Patel, Director of Indamer Aviation Pvt. Ltd., R\u00e9mi Maillard, President and Managing Director of Airbus India and South Asia, and Sunny Guglani, Head of Helicopters for Airbus India and South Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Establishing and sustaining a comprehensive rotary-wing aviation ecosystem in India is pivotal for Airbus Helicopters. Through our collaboration with Indamer, we intend to address the needs of our expanding fleet in India, tapping into future potential and leveraging technical expertise to advance India’s helicopter MRO aspirations,” stated Romain Trapp, Executive Vice-President of Customer Support and services for Airbus Helicopters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“More than a decade ago, Indamer strategically established its rotary-wing MRO division, concentrating on meeting the escalating demands of Indian customers for helicopters. The acknowledgment from Airbus directly stems from the company’s steadfast commitment to this strategic focus. The collaboration between Indamer and Airbus Helicopters in MRO services will significantly reduce turnaround times for servicing, contributing to an efficient after-market experience not only for Airbus Helicopters customers in India but also across the broader South Asia region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strong Presence in India<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Airbus Helicopters’ collaboration with Indamer represents the latest addition to Airbus’ expanding industrial presence in India, aimed at establishing the foundations for a mature and comprehensive aerospace ecosystem in the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presently, every Airbus commercial aircraft and helicopter incorporates critical technologies and components that are designed, manufactured, and maintained in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indamer, already the largest MRO operator for helicopters in India, boasts a presence in multiple locations including Nagpur, Mumbai, Pune, and New Delhi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airbus has been at the forefront of the domestic civil and parapublic helicopter market, contributing to over half of the new registered deliveries since 2010. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, there are over 125 Airbus helicopters in operation throughout the India & South Asia region, featuring world-leading platforms such as H125, H130, H135, H145, and Dauphin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
