LONDON-<\/strong> LATAM Airlines (LA)<\/a> has introduced Lima (LIM) as its second South American destination directly connected to London Heathrow (LHR)<\/a>. The Peruvian capital is now served five times a week from Heathrow, complementing the existing daily service to Sao Paulo in Brazil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The launch event was attended by the complete regional team of LATAM Airlines and Ricardo Romero Talledo, Director at the Trade Commission of Peru in the UK <\/a>and Ireland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LATAM Lima to London Flight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“Today, the realization of connecting the UK and Peru has come to fruition with the launch of this direct route between London and Lima. We are well aware of the excitement generated by this announcement in both countries, fostering great expectations for the future. Our Lima hub seamlessly links to 19 destinations within Peru and over 30 international destinations. With the addition of the 7 weekly flights between London and S\u00e3o Paulo, along with the 5 frequencies of this route to Lima, LATAM Airlines stands out as the optimal choice for travelers, be it for business or leisure, looking to explore South America,” stated Davide Ioppolo, Regional Commercial Director Central and Southeast Europe, United Kingdom, Nordic Countries, and South Africa at LATAM Airlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The London to Lima route establishes a connection for UK travelers to one of the most diverse and appealing countries in the Americas, providing them the opportunity to immerse themselves in its rich culture, cuisine, and natural beauty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, departing from Lima, passengers can seamlessly access LATAM\u2019s extensive network of destinations in Peru and other neighboring countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Operated with LATAM Airlines’ reliable and secure fleet of Boeing 787-8 aircraft<\/a>, the flights, with a duration of approximately 12 hours, will facilitate travel between the two capitals five times a week, specifically on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft boasts a total capacity of 247 passengers, featuring 30 seats in the Premium Business cabin and 217 in Economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
