HONOLULU-<\/strong> Hawaiian Airlines (HA) <\/a>has officially initiated ticket sales for its upcoming daily nonstop flights connecting Salt Lake City (SLC)<\/a> and Honolulu (HNL)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting from May 15, the renowned carrier of Hawai\u02bbi<\/a> is set to offer its award-winning service and genuine Hawaiian hospitality on board the 189-seat Airbus A321neo aircraft for travelers journeying between Utah and Hawai\u02bbi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hawaiian Airlines Salt Lake City Flights <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“We anticipate that this new route will generate excitement among travelers in both Utah and Hawai\u02bbi, given our shared interests in tourism, education, and Pacific Island communities. We look forward to fortifying these connections when we launch our service next summer,” expressed Hawaiian Airlines President and CEO, Peter Ingram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bill Wyatt, the Executive Director of Salt Lake City International Airport, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome Hawaiian Airlines to Salt Lake City International. Hawai\u02bbi is not only a favorite vacation destination for Utahns but is also a popular choice for family members to visit.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Utah boasts one of the highest concentrations of Pacific Islanders in the country, with approximately 60,000 residents. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this new service, Salt Lake City now stands as Hawaiian’s 16th gateway city in the continental U.S., marking the airline with the most extensive reach to the islands among carriers serving Hawai\u02bbi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flight Schedule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

HA84 <\/strong>is scheduled to depart from HNL at 6:50 p.m. and reach SLC at 5:15 a.m. the following day. Conversely, HA83 will take off from SLC at 7 a.m. and land at HNL at 9:55 a.m., enabling travelers to make the most of their first day at either destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expansion of Hawaiian Airlines’ services directly responds to significant demand from one of their top 20 U.S. markets. This initiative provides increased travel opportunities for kama\u02bb\u0101ina (locals). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It facilitates the return of friends and family members to Hawai\u02bbi, as mentioned by Daniel N\u0101ho’opi’i, the interim President and CEO of the Hawai’i Tourism Authority. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expressing gratitude for Hawaiian Airlines’ enduring commitment to serving the people of Hawai’i and bringing considerate visitors to the state, N\u0101ho’opi’i highlighted the meaningful impact of this expanded service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the Salt Lake City route, Hawaiian Airlines has announced an expansion in service from Sacramento (SMF). Beginning May 24, four weekly flights to L\u012bhu\u02bbe (LIH) on Kaua\u02bbi will be introduced, along with three weekly flights to Kona (KOA) on the Island of Hawai\u02bbi starting May 25. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These routes, operated with A321neo aircraft<\/a>, complement Hawaiian’s existing services connecting SMF with HNL and Kahului (OGG) on Maui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cindy Nichol, Director of Sacramento County Department of Airports, expressed satisfaction, stating, “I am pleased to share that Hawaiian Airlines has introduced new nonstop flights from Sacramento International Airport (SMF) to L\u012bhu\u02bbe and Kona. This marks the first-ever direct service to L\u012bhu\u02bbe, providing our customers with yet another exciting option for planning their next island vacation.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Best in Class Service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Passengers aboard Hawaiian’s A321neos will be treated to authentic Hawaiian hospitality, including complimentary meals. The aircraft features 16 luxurious leather recliners in the Premium Cabin, 45 Extra Comfort premium economy seats, and 128 Economy seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cabin’s design pays homage to traditional Hawaiian crafts such as bark cloth (kapa) and fishing nets, incorporating materials like sand-inspired wall panels, Hawaiian language signage, and LED mood-lighting that captures the soothing sunrises and sunsets of Hawaii.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests will enjoy amenities like wireless streaming entertainment, USB outlets, and additional overhead stowage space. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hawaiian Airlines is actively equipping its fleet of 18 A321neos with high-speed Starlink internet, set to be complimentary for all guests on Wi-Fi-equipped aircraft starting early next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
