DELHI-<\/strong> Lufthansa (LH)<\/a> flight LH772 from Munich to Bangkok was redirected to Delhi<\/a> in the early hours of Wednesday due to a disruptive passenger. The individual, appearing to be intoxicated, was subsequently disembarked from the aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a parallel occurrence, a man was apprehended on October 6 for reportedly using offensive language and making inappropriate comments toward the crew members on an Air India flight, as reported by the Delhi Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FIR Details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the incident detailed in the FIR, a crew member assigned to the economy class cabin reported that the accused, initially seated at 21B and later at 45H, began making inappropriate remarks and verbally abusing fellow passengers on board, as per news agency PTI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cabin supervisor issued verbal and written warnings when the behavior persisted. Despite these warnings, the passenger continued the disruptive behavior, prompting the crew to restrain him, as mentioned in the FIR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The accused also allegedly directed abuse towards the complainant and other female crew members in the galley, according to the FIR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cabin Design Adjustments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Operating a fleet of 19 Boeing<\/a> 747-8 aircraft, Lufthansa faces unique considerations due to the model\u2019s longer hump, rendering it somewhat top-heavy compared to its predecessors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lufthansa\u2019s initial application of the Allegris update is confined to the Economy, Premium Economy, and Business Class on the lower deck to circumvent the necessity for additional balancing weights at the aircraft\u2019s rear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presently, the existing Business Class on the upper deck and the First Class in the bow of the lower deck will remain unchanged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an effort to harmonize the new and existing cabin configurations, Lufthansa is contemplating a substantial reduction in the business class section on the upper deck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to insights from the \u201cFrankfurtFlyer\u201d frequent flyer portal, Lufthansa intends to retrofit the upper deck\u2019s business class to the Allegris standard by 2026, featuring a reduced capacity of 23 seats compared to the previous 32.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While details about the finalized Allegris configuration in the Boeing 747-8 are still pending, aero.de reports that considerations are underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
