However, it now appears that this expansion is set to be scaled back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the information, American Airlines is planning to discontinue service from Austin to the following destinations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Albuquerque (ABQ) after February 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bozeman (BZN) after January 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cincinnati (CVG) after January 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cozumel (CZM) after January 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Destin-Fort Walton (VPS) as of 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eagle-Vail (EGE) after February 2024, although there\u2019s a possibility of it returning seasonally<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>El Paso (ELP) after February 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fort Myers (RSW) after February 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jacksonville (JAX) after January 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kansas City (MCI) as of February 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liberia (LIR) after April 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Memphis (MEM) as of January 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Montego Bay (MBJ) as of 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nassau (NAS) after March 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oklahoma City (OKC) after February 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Puerto Vallarta (PVR) after April 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Punta Cana (PUJ) after March 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sacramento (SMF) after February 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tampa (TPA) after February 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tulsa (TUL) as of 2024<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Washington Dulles (IAD) after February 2024<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This accounts for more than half of the destinations currently offered by American Airlines from Austin.
