New Routes <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We’ve Successfully Served 1.6 Million Guests from India Between January and November, Demonstrating the Resilience of Our Competitive Fares and Connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“In our ongoing efforts to fortify our presence in India, we’re pleased to unveil expansion plans, including the imminent launch of a new route to Thiruvananthapuram,” stated Lingam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AirAsia now offers 10 direct international routes from India to Malaysia and Thailand, with a total of 104 weekly flights operated by short-haul carriers AirAsia Malaysia and AirAsia Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, the medium-haul affiliate airline, AirAsia X Malaysia, operates two direct routes from New Delhi <\/a>and Amritsar to Kuala Lumpur, providing a total of eight flights weekly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manoj Dharmani, Head of Regional Commercial (India) at AirAsia, expressed the airline’s deep commitment to India. Although no longer operating domestic flights, he assured guests that India remains central to the airline’s operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dharmani highlighted AirAsia’s remarkable growth over the years, connecting numerous cities and regions in India to the global network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He emphasized the significance of their expansion, resulting in 104 weekly flights and positioning AirAsia as a crucial and reliable link between India and the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Asia X will initially operate four weekly flights, connecting Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport in Amritsar with major Australian cities such as Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Gold Coast. Passengers will have the convenience of short layover connections via Kuala Lumpur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This development will bring relief to the Punjabi community residing in Australia<\/a> and other Southeast Asian countries, as it will significantly reduce travel time and fares compared to flights from Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, travelers can easily access Air Asia X<\/a> flights via Kuala Lumpur to reach popular tourist destinations like Bangkok, Indonesia, the Philippines, and others within a short timeframe<\/p>\n\n\n\n
