DUBLIN, FORT WORTH-<\/strong> Ireland-based Aer Lingus (EI)<\/a> has unveiled an extended expansion of its codeshare partnership with Major US Carrier American Airlines (AA)<\/a>, enabling travelers to book additional transatlantic flights through both airlines’ official websites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This expanded agreement allows customers to reserve flights with either Aer Lingus or American Airlines for routes connecting Dublin<\/a> to Philadelphia (PHL)<\/a> and Dublin to Chicago (ORD)<\/a>. This enhancement offers travelers greater options and improved flexibility when traveling between Europe and transatlantic destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

American Airlines and Aer Lingus Codeshare<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The existing codeshare arrangement between the two carriers, which was initiated last year, currently permits Aer Lingus customers to book direct flights from Dublin (DUB) to Charlotte (CLT) and Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today’s announcement represents a significant milestone in Aer Lingus’ collaboration with American Airlines and its participation in the broader Atlantic Joint Business (AJB) partnership, which includes American Airlines, British Airways, Iberia, and Finnair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aer Lingus passengers now have the option to book codeshare connections with American Airlines to a variety of destinations, including Albuquerque, New Mexico (ABQ), Nashville, Tennessee (BNA), Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Las Vegas (LAS), Kansas City (MCI), Portland, Oregon (PDX), San Jose, California (SJC), Tampa, Florida (TPA), and Tucson, Arizona (TUS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aer Lingus became part of the Atlantic Joint Business in 2020, and this integrated collaboration has delivered substantial benefits to millions of travelers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These benefits include reduced fares, increased access to destinations, and more synchronized schedules and flight frequencies. This initiative has been serving passengers effectively since its launch in 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
