DUBAI-<\/strong> On November 1, a Qatar Airways (QR)<\/a> flight, operated by an Airbus <\/a>A320, touched down at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport (RKT), signifying the reinstatement of services along this route. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This development strengthens the connectivity between Ras Al Khaimah and one of the world’s most extensive airline networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A one-hour flight from Doha Hub to Ras Al Khaimah<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The flight, covering a one-hour journey from Qatar Airways’ Doha hub at Hamad International Airport, offers passengers a convenient gateway to Ras Al Khaimah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commenting on this development, Raki Phillips, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, expressed his excitement about the commencement of operations to the emirate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He emphasized their commitment to working together to achieve sustainable growth, aligning with their ambitious goal of attracting three million visitors annually by 2030 and increasing tourism’s contribution to Ras Al Khaimah’s GDP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration between Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) and Qatar Airways is in line with RAKTDA’s strategy to enhance global connectivity to the Emirate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These flights will provide international travelers with expanded options, greater flexibility, and improved access to explore the natural beauty of Ras Al Khaimah. Leveraging Qatar Airways’ extensive global network, which includes over 160 destinations and convenient one-stop connections from European cities, Ras Al Khaimah aims to serve its key source markets better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
