PARIS-<\/strong> Doha-based Qatar Airways (QR)<\/a> is set to temporarily boost its Airbus A380<\/a> service on the Doha (DOH)<\/a> to Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG)<\/a> route during the first quarter of 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting from January 25, 2024, until February 10, 2024, the airline will add a fourth weekly flight using the A380.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qatar Airways 4th Weekly<\/strong> Paris Flight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

These flights will operate on Thursdays and be designated QR039\/040, reported Aeroroutes<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the Doha to Paris Charles de Gaulle route, the temporarily added A380 flight, QR039, will depart from Doha at 08:10 and arrive in Paris CDG at 13:15 on days excluding Thursday (x123). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The return flight, QR040, will operate from Paris CDG at 15:15 and land in Doha at 23:45 on days excluding Thursday (x123).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this period, the A380 service to London Heathrow (LHR)<\/a> will be reduced to 13 weekly flights, as flight QR003\/004 will change to a 777-300ER on Thursdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, Akbar Al Baker <\/strong>officially stepped down from his role as the CEO of\u00a0Qatar Airways<\/a>, concluding 27 years of dedicated service, according to sources familiar with the matter, as confirmed by Doha News. This move comes just one day after his replacement as chairman of Qatar Tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a resignation letter penned by Al Baker and circulated among Qatar Airways staff, the outgoing CEO announced his resignation and reflected on the airline\u2019s \u201cextraordinary\u201d journey. He noted that this decision would take effect on November 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al Baker expressed his immense pride when looking back on the years, acknowledging that the airline\u2019s accomplishments have been a source of pride for himself and his beloved country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He conveyed his deepest gratitude to the staff for their trust and confidence placed in him over the years. He also indicated that the Chairman of the Board would announce his successor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al Baker, who also held the position of chairman at\u00a0Qatar\u00a0<\/a>Tourism, found himself replaced by Saad bin Ali Al Kharji following a directive from Qatar\u2019s Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, just one day prior on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since his appointment as the Chief of Qatar Airways by the then leader, Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, in 1997, the business magnate has steered the airline to remarkable heights, establishing it as an industry front-runner with the vision of \u201csetting the standard for quality international travel.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under Al Baker\u2019s leadership, Qatar Airways evolved from a small company with a fleet of four aircraft to one of the aviation industry\u2019s most prominent names, boasting a fleet of over 200 aircraft and serving more than 130\u00a0destinations<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
