ABU DHABI-<\/strong> Starting from November 1, Air India Express (IX)<\/a> and IndiGo (6E)<\/a> flights will be relocated to the new terminal, Terminal A, at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH)<\/a>. This transition will occur in three phases throughout the month of November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the inaugural day, a total of 15 international airlines, such as Air India Express, IndiGo, and Wizz Air Abu Dhabi (5W), will commence their operations from the new terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shift of Operations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Starting from November 9, 16 Etihad Airways (EY)<\/a> flights will be relocated to the new terminal. Then, between November 14 and November 28, an additional 10 airlines, including Air Arabia <\/a>Abu Dhabi (3L), will begin operating from Terminal A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This development means all passenger flights will operate from the new terminal. Terminal A boasts an impressive capacity of accommodating 45 million passengers annually, making it one of the largest airport terminals globally. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials have stated that it can efficiently manage the travel arrangements for up to 11,000 passengers per hour and simultaneously facilitate the operation of 79 flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Abu Dhabi Terminal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Abu Dhabi Airport (AUH)<\/a> has unveiled plans for the imminent opening of its state-of-the-art new terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Referred to as \u2018Terminal A\u2019 after its construction, this remarkable facility is set to commence operations in early November 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The terminal features self-service kiosks, streamlined security checkpoints, and state-of-the-art baggage handling systems for added convenience and efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Terminal A, sprawling across an impressive 742,000 square meters of built-up space, ranks among the largest airport terminals globally. This colossal structure is poised to significantly elevate the passenger and cargo capacity of Abu Dhabi International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, Terminal A is set to offer a plethora of world-class amenities, including opulent lounges, serene relaxation zones, and luxurious spa facilities where travelers can unwind before or after their flights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comprising 163 retail and food and beverage establishments catering to diverse tastes and preferences, the terminal’s retail offerings will captivate leisure and business travelers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
