MUMBAI- <\/strong>Celebi India has achieved another milestone through its recent partnership with Uganda Airlines (UR)<\/a>, where it will provide top-notch ground handling services in the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration underlines Celebi’s unwavering commitment to elevating the standards of aviation services in India <\/a>and consistently delivering world-class ground and cargo handling services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uganda Airlines Celebi India Partnership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u00c7elebi India initiated its support for Uganda Airlines’ ground handling services with the launch of the airline’s inaugural direct flight from Entebbe to Mumbai on October 7, 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uganda Airlines operates three weekly flights connecting Entebbe and Mumbai <\/a>and intends to expand its presence in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a solid track record over a decade, \u00c7elebi has cultivated a culture of excellence in ground handling services at Mumbai Airport, catering to domestic and international airlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Tauseef Khan, CEO of \u00c7elebi Ground Handling – India, expressed his delight in bringing their ground handling expertise to Uganda Airlines in Mumbai. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He anticipates a long-term partnership as Uganda Airlines extends its footprint in India, reiterating its commitment to providing seamless services and contributing to the growth of aviation in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Jenifer Bamuturaki, Chief Executive Officer of Uganda Airlines, emphasized the airline’s pride in strengthening business and commercial ties between India and Uganda by launching direct flights from Entebbe to Mumbai. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also revealed plans to expand their network to other points in India. She extended her congratulations to \u00c7elebi India for supporting the growing demand for air passenger and cargo services in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nationwide Services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u00c7elebi India has recently commenced ground handling services at Chennai <\/a>Airport, adding to its portfolio of nine airports in India, including major hubs like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Cochin, Ahmedabad, Goa (Manohar International Airport, Mopa), and Kannur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a leader in sustainability within the Indian ground handling industry, \u00c7elebi India is dedicated to assisting the Indian aviation sector in achieving carbon neutrality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among its sustainability initiatives, the company has introduced eco-friendly services, including 100% electric, air-conditioned tarmac coaches, electric baggage and cargo towing tugs, taxi-bots, and bridge-mounted equipment services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
