TOULOUSE-<\/strong> Tata Owned Air India (AI)<\/a> has given aviation enthusiasts and travelers the new livery for their upcoming Airbus A350 aircraft<\/a>. The airline took to its official social media account today (October 7, 2023) to provide a sneak peek of the livery being applied to the Airbus A350.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the post, Air India unveiled the ‘first look of the magnificent A350’ aircraft as it undergoes the painting process at an Airbus facility in Toulouse, France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The post on Air India’s official handle X stated, ‘Here’s the inaugural glimpse of our majestic A350<\/a> in its new livery, currently at the paint shop in Toulouse. Our A350 fleet will begin arriving this winter… @Airbus.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This sneak peek of the aircraft is generating excitement and anticipation for the debut of Air India’s A350 fleet this winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new livery represents a fresh beginning for Air India and underscores the airline’s commitment to providing passengers with a modern and visually appealing travel experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Latest Updates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On Friday (September 29, 2023), Air India (AI)<\/a> announced the successful completion of the acquisition of its inaugural Airbus A350<\/a> aircraft, facilitated through a finance lease transaction conducted via HSBC and the GIFT City.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This marks the first wide-body aircraft acquired through GIFT City, India\u2019s premier International Financial Services Centre (IFSC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air India has placed orders for a total of six A350-900 aircraft, with deliveries expected for five of them by March 2024. Additionally, the airline has firm orders for 470 new aircraft, comprising 34 A350-1000s, 20 Boeing 787 Dreamliners<\/a>, 10 Boeing 777Xs, 140 A320<\/a> neos, 70 A321 neos, and 190 Boeing 737MAXs, as part of agreements signed with Airbus and Boeing <\/a>in June of the current year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few days back, we got the update that Air India (AI) is set to introduce two A350 <\/a>aircraft into its fleet this year. These two aircraft are getting prepared for delivery. Further, these two new A350s aircraft were spotted at Toulouse by DN280 Planespotter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first one has the Manufacturer Serial Number (MSN) 554 and is registered as F-WZFZ, while the Indian reg will be VT-JRA. Subsequently, the second A350-941 has the MSN 558 and is registered as F-WZFN \/ VT-JRB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In February, Air India placed an order for 470 aircraft, which includes 6 A350-900 and 34 A350-1000 planes. Subsequently, Air India has received the Letter of Type Acceptance (LoTA) from the DGCA for the induction of two A350 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, by the conclusion of March 2024, Air India aims to have a total of six A350 aircraft in its fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
