DOHA, QATAR-<\/strong> Qatar Airways (QR)<\/a> is pleased to introduce the new Expo 2023 Doha livery to its aircraft fleet, marking its role as the Official Strategic Partner for this significant event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This unveiling serves as a celebration of Qatar Airways and Hamad International Airport’s readiness to host a global gathering centered on environmental awareness, further solidifying their positions as strategic partners in the pursuit of a sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qatar Airways Expo Livery<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft chosen for this occasion is an A330-300, elegantly adorned with the Expo 2023 Doha livery<\/strong>. Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, presided over the unveiling ceremony at Hamad International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Distinguished dignitaries, including H.E. Dr. Engr, graced the event. Saad Ahmed Al Mohannadi, President of Ashghal; Engr. Badr Mohammed Al Meer, Chief Operating Officer at Hamad International Airport; Engr. Mohamed Ali al-Khouri, Secretary-General of Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha, along with senior management representatives from Qatar Airways and the Expo team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minister of Municipality, His Excellency Mr. Abdulla bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, emphasized, “Expo 2023 Doha stands as a symbol of Qatar’s dedication to sustainable development and environmental advancement. With esteemed partners such as Qatar Airways, we are well-prepared to deliver a global Expo experience that resonates and inspires positive change on a global scale.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doha Expo 2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As a significant contributor to Expo 2023, Qatar Airways will showcase the “Qatar Airways Garden” pavilion, a remarkable exhibition space designed to engage visitors and convey the Expo’s theme, “Green Desert, Better Environment.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting from October 11, 2023, Qatar Airways will enhance its in-flight experience, offering a curated selection of beverages and an exclusive \u00e0 la carte menu that highlights ingredients sourced from Qatari farms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, passengers will enjoy Expo-themed in-flight entertainment, including a dedicated Expo channel featuring over 30 gardening-related shows, ensuring a memorable horticultural experience while on board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expo 2023 Doha is scheduled to take place from October 2023 to March 2024 at the picturesque Al Bidda Park, with an expected attendance of approximately three million international visitors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set against the backdrop of the Arabian Gulf, this six-month event will offer a wide range of experiences, including stunning gardens, enlightening discussions, art, culinary delights, and a special focus on innovative approaches to combat desertification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
