CHICAGO-<\/strong> Starting in mid-December 2023, the Star Alliance member Avianca (AV) intends to enhance its codeshare collaboration with United Airlines (UA)<\/a>, encompassing a range of routes to and from Chicago O’Hare (ORD)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scheduled codeshare routes will come into effect on December 13, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    UA LOT Cancel Codeshare Partnership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Star Alliance members LOT Polish Airlines (LO) and\u00a0United Airlines (UA)<\/a>\u00a0will discontinue their codeshare partnership, which has been in place since\u00a0October 2003.<\/strong>\u00a0The existing reciprocal codeshare routes will remain operational until September 26-27, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On October 26, 2003, LOT joined the Star Alliance as its 14th member following the dissolution of the Qualiflyer Group. United is the founding member of Star Alliance, along with Scandinavian Airlines (SK), Thai Airways International (TG),\u00a0Air Canada (AC)<\/a>, and\u00a0Lufthansa (LH)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The existing reciprocal codeshare routes between LOT Polish Airlines and United Airlines will remain valid until September 26-27, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
