{"id":46735,"date":"2023-09-25T18:36:50","date_gmt":"2023-09-25T13:06:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?p=46735"},"modified":"2023-09-26T20:13:25","modified_gmt":"2023-09-26T14:43:25","slug":"air-india-codeshare-with-aix-connect","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/index.php\/2023\/09\/25\/air-india-codeshare-with-aix-connect\/","title":{"rendered":"Air India Forms New Codeshare Agreement with AIX Connect"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>MUMBAI-<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Air+India\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Air India (AI)<\/a>, a Tata Group-owned prominent Indian carrier, has forged a codeshare partnership with<a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=AIX+Connect\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> AIX Connect<\/a>, formerly known as Air Asia India (I5). As part of this agreement, Air India will assign its &#8216;AI&#8217; designator code to more than 100 daily flights operated by AIX Connect along 21 routes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional routes will be gradually incorporated into the codeshare agreement. Passengers originating from these cities will now have the opportunity to access Air India&#8217;s extensive international network via <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Delhi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Delhi <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Mumbai\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mumbai <\/a>hubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This codeshare agreement also empowers AIX Connect to tap into Air India&#8217;s global distribution network, accessible through the airline&#8217;s direct channels and global network of travel agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s worth noting that AIX Connect is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Air India and is currently integrating with Air India Express, another wholly-owned subsidiary of Air India, with the goal of forming a unified low-cost carrier within the Tata Group&#8217;s aviation business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Photos by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/avgeekwithlens\/\">Harsh Tekriwal (@avgeekwithlens) \u2022 Instagram photos and videos<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay tuned with us.
