DUBAI-<\/strong> UAE Flag carrier Emirates (EK) Airlines<\/a> is hiring experienced Airbus <\/a>(A380 and A350<\/a>) captains (Pilots) as part of its ongoing expansion efforts with an all-wide-body fleet and increasing demand across its network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline is actively seeking applications from seasoned captains to join its Direct Entry Captains program, specifically for its Airbus A380 <\/a>fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates Hiring A350 Pilots<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Emirates has initiated a global recruitment campaign, inviting interested pilots and their families to participate in an online information session on October 4 at 1 pm Dubai time, attend open days in select locations, and stay tuned for exciting opportunities by visiting this link: Emirates Pilot Careers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Direct Entry Captains program is tailored for technically proficient captains with a minimum of 3,000 hours of recent command experience on Airbus fly-by-wire wide-body aircraft such as the A330, A340, A350, and A380. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Candidates should also have a minimum of 7,000 hours of total flight time on multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft and fulfill other eligibility requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates pilots find their roles to be professionally fulfilling, rewarding, and full of excitement. New recruits will become part of a thriving community of 4,200 flight crew members, including 1,515 A380 pilots, all of whom take immense pride in operating Emirates’ extensive fleet of 260 aircraft. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline boasts one of the world’s youngest and most advanced wide-body fleets, featuring iconic Airbus A380s and Boeing <\/a>777s. Also, Emirates will introduce its fleet of A350s in mid-2024 and 777-9s in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Innovative Pilot Training<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Emirates remains committed to advancing its pilot training initiatives, consistently making substantial investments in this area. The airline currently operates a state-of-the-art training center equipped with 10 full-flight simulators. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates takes pride in its evidence-based, comprehensive, and in-house training programs conducted by highly skilled instructors in specially tailored training environments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, Emirates is poised to open a cutting-edge pilot training facility in March 2024, representing a significant investment of US$135 million. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spanning an impressive 63,300 square feet, this facility will boost pilot training capacity by 54% and accommodate an additional 6 full-flight simulators, including those for the A350s and Boeing 777-9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to technical training, Emirates offers its pilots access to a diverse array of non-technical training programs through the Emirates Aviation College and Emirates Aviation University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diverse Expat Community<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The expatriate pilot community at Emirates relishes the experience of living and working in the vibrant, diverse, and secure city of Dubai. Here, they collaborate with flight deck colleagues representing 111 different countries and are part of a workforce comprising individuals from over 160 nationalities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably, the two longest-serving pilots, each boasting over 34 years of service, coincidentally joined the airline on the same day in 1989.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past five months, Emirates has welcomed a total of 172 new pilots through its three recruitment programs: Direct Entry Captains, Accelerated Command, and First Officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
