noopener\">Akasa Airlines (QP)<\/a> has opted to pursue legal recourse against 43 pilots who chose to join different airlines without fulfilling their notice period obligations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This airline, which is only 13 months old, is said to have requested approximately \u20b922 crore in compensation from these 43 pilots to account for the revenue losses incurred and the tarnishing of the report published by the <em>Times of India<\/em>, the substantial departure of these pilots has compelled the airline to cancel several of its operations since August 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An Akasa Air representative stated, &#8220;We have initiated legal action exclusively against a limited group of pilots who neglected their responsibilities and departed without fulfilling their obligatory contractual notice period.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline has emphasized that this action not only constitutes a breach of their contractual agreements but also contravenes the civil aviation regulations of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statement further asserts, &#8220;This behavior not only stands in violation of the law but also represents an unethical and self-centered act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It resulted in the disruption of flights in August, leading to impromptu cancellations that left thousands of passengers stranded, causing substantial inconvenience to the <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Akasa Air, presently operating with a fleet of 20 aircraft, commenced its services in August 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In June of the current year, the airline, headquartered in Mumbai.Implemented substantial pay raises for its pilots, with increases of up to 40%. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a report from June, Akasa Air disclosed that starting from July 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In August, Akasa expanded its fleet to include a 20th aircraft, meeting the requirement to commence international operations as mandated by Indian regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of Salary<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In June of this year, Akasa announced that for individuals with greater experience and more flight hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pay scale could potentially be even higher, allowing captains to earn up to \u20b97.75 lakh per month. This represents a 6% increase from the existing \u20b97.28 lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, apart from the standard 40 hours of flying, captains will receive \u20b97,500 for each additional hour, while first officers will be compensated \u20b93,045.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay tuned with us.
