This period is typically considered a weaker season for domestic travel, making the airline&#8217;s performance noteworthy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vistara has been experiencing consistent demand across its international network, particularly on its long-haul routes. Further, it has maintained steady traffic on domestic routes covering major cities and leisure destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, Vistara operates flights to 32 domestic and 15 international destinations, utilizing a fleet of 61 aircraft. This fleet includes 46 <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Airbus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Airbus <\/a>A320neo, 10 Airbus A321, and five <a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Boeing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Boeing <\/a>787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rajawat mentioned that they recently received their fifth<a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Boeing+787\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner<\/a>; two more are expected to be delivered in the coming months. Follow him on its social media<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-survey-tests-ahead-of-merger\">Survey, Tests Ahead of Merger<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Vistara (UK)&nbsp;is currently conducting aptitude tests for its workforce and has initiated a cultural survey in anticipation of its merger with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Air+India\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Air India (AI)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aptitude tests form an integral part of the selection process, aiding in the identification of suitable roles within the merged entity for Vistara employees, reported&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehindubusinessline.com\/companies\/vistara-rolls-out-staff-tests-culture-survey-ahead-of-its-merger-with-air-india\/article67266609.ece\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hindu BusinessLine<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Friday, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) approved Vistara\u2019s merger with Air India. This approval will facilitate the alignment of the two airlines\u2019 networks and schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A full-scale merger is projected to be completed by the following June, contingent upon the receipt of all necessary regulatory clearances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A uniform salary structure and seniority list have been established for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/aviationa2z.com\/?s=Pilots\">pilots&nbsp;<\/a>across all Tata group-affiliated airlines. Vistara has already conducted town hall meetings to elucidate the integration process for seniority lists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, Vistara has enlisted the assistance of consulting firm Mercer for the fitment process.
