Hardly after being airborne for a few minutes, the flight reported issues with one of its engines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But they could not land immediately as they were carrying adequate fuel to reach Honolulu (HNL). Subsequently, they burnt extra fuel but made holding patterns over the North Pacific Ocean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After burning extra fuel for around 40 minutes, the flight landed safely back in Tokyo at around 1:08 PM UTC. The flight was carrying around 264 people, and six were injured due to the turbulence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aircraft involved in the incident is Airbus A330-200, registered as N370HA. They provided medical examinations to 12 individuals, as stated by a New South Wales ambulance service spokesperson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Out of the examined individuals, three passengers were subsequently taken to the hospital for further treatment of their injuries. In comparison, three crew members and four passengers received initial medical attention from onboard medics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Airbus A330 aircraft underwent a thorough inspection before its return to Honolulu later that evening to ensure its airworthiness and safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay tuned with us.
