The aircraft safely landed back on runway 36L at Charlotte approximately 50 minutes after taking off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aircraft involved in the incident is a Boeing 737-800, registered as N815NN. It turned back after being airborne for almost one hour and 20 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flight was over the Caribbean Sea when smoke filled the cabin. The flight diverted to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and landed safely at around 5:36 PM UTC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aircraft involved in the incident is Airbus A320neo, registered as N917NK.
