ATLANTA-<\/strong> Delta Air Lines (DL)<\/a>, two flights operated by Boeing <\/a>aircraft type, made emergency landings in a single day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But there is a single commonality between the two flights. One flight was scheduled to land at Salt Lake City Airport (SLC), while the other took off from SLC. The FAA <\/a>investigates both of these flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta First Flight Emergency Landing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Delta Air Lines Flight 496 touched down without incident at approximately 6:45 p.m. local time at Denver International Airport (DEN)<\/a> following a reported potential hydraulic concern by the flight crew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight took off from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) en route to John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) <\/a>in New York<\/a>. For additional details, kindly refer to the airline’s official communication, wrote FAA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft involved in the incident is a Boeing 757-200, registered as N548US<\/strong>. Subsequently, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will initiate an investigation into the matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second Incident<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, August 29, Another Delta Air Lines Flight 1593 completed a safe landing at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport (ICT) at approximately 8:25 p.m. local time. The flight crew alerted about a potential pressurization concern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Boeing 737-800 aircraft registered as N3744F <\/strong>was en route from Memphis (MEM) to Salt Lake City. Further, it is a 22.5-year-old and <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will investigate the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta Flight Turbulence Injured 11<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, August 29, 2023, a severe turbulence incident took place involving Delta Air Lines (DL)<\/a> flight DL175, which was en route from Milan (MXP) to Atlanta (ATL).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight was operated by an Airbus <\/a>A350-900 aircraft with the registration code N576DZ<\/strong>, having been in service for three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight lasted 9 hours and 47 minutes and proceeded uneventfully until the approach phase. Approximately 40 miles northeast of Atlanta, the aircraft encountered a bout of severe turbulence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out of the total 151 passengers and 14 crew members on board, 11 individuals sustained injuries as a result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These injured individuals were promptly transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation. Fortunately, none of the injuries are deemed life-threatening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
