ATLANTA-<\/strong> Delta Air Lines (DL) <\/a>is set to enhance its flight schedule to China <\/a>in the upcoming months, introducing expanded connectivity with 10 weekly flights to Shanghai-Pudong International Airport (PVG) <\/a>from its Seattle (SEA)<\/a> and Detroit (DTW) <\/a>hubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commencing from October 29, the airline will institute daily flights departing from SEA and three-times-weekly service originating from DTW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta China Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, in March of the following year, Delta will revive its four-times-weekly PVG service from its Los Angeles (LAX) hub<\/a>, a route that was last operated in February 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jeff Moomaw, Delta’s Vice President for the Asia Pacific, remarked, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“As the demand surges and the vibrant travel season to the Asia-Pacific region takes off, the Delta team is fully prepared to extend a warm welcome to more travelers venturing into the region this winter, ensuring they experience our renowned customer service throughout their journey.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Delta passengers will enjoy the added convenience of seamless connections to various cities within China, facilitated by the airline’s collaboration with China Eastern Airlines (MU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This partnership equates to a substantial 260 codeshare flights per week, translating into an enriched selection of travel possibilities for passengers and an elevated level of travel convenience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airbus A330 and A350 will Serve the Routes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The flight departing from SEA will be operated using an Airbus <\/a>A330-900 aircraft, whereas the flights from DTW and LAX will utilize an Airbus A350-900.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of these routes will offer passengers the choice of four distinct onboard experiences: Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those traveling in Delta One will relish enhanced privacy and the luxury of a lie-flat seat, complemented by sumptuous bedding crafted from recycled materials, meticulously crafted Someone Somewhere amenity kits, gourmet chef-designed meals, and various other amenities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers in Delta Premium Select will revel in extra space courtesy of a wider seat featuring a deeper recline, an adjustable footrest, a leg rest, a heightened dining experience, and a host of considerate amenities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

America China Doubles Weekly Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In an unusual display of collaboration between the world\u2019s two largest economies, the United States of America (USA)<\/a> and the Republic of China<\/a> are set to endorse a doubled quota of passenger flights for air carriers connecting the two nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) revealed its intention to augment the allowance for Chinese passenger flights bound for the U.S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of September 1, the permitted weekly round-trip flights will surge to 18, and this number will further escalate to 24 per week beginning October 29. This marks a significant increase from the existing limit of 12 weekly round-trip flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

U.S. airlines are not anticipated to take advantage of all 18 weekly flights immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
