DOHA-<\/strong> The leading middle east carrier, Qatar Airways (QR),<\/a> has revealed its plans to recommence its weekly flight services to two cities in China<\/a>, specifically Chengdu and Chongqing, beginning in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the airline’s Twitter (X) statement, it intends to run three weekly flights to Chongqing, China, starting September 25, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qatar Airways Resume Flights to China<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In a recent announcement, the airline shared its excitement about resuming flights to Chongqing, China, using the hashtag #QatarAirways. It conveyed that starting September 25, it will restore its three-weekly flight schedule to Chongqing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preceding this, the airline had declared the reinstatement of its thrice-weekly flights directed to Chengdu, China, starting September 23, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Embark on a Chengdu Panda Adventure. Exciting news from #QatarAirways as they joyfully shared that commencing September 23, they will recommence operating three weekly flights to Chengdu, China,” the recent statement from Qatar Airways conveyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gulf carrier also plans to add a third daily service on the DOH-JFK route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New York-Doha Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The flag carrier of Qatar and leading Gulf carrier, Qatar Airways (QR)<\/a>, will increase its flight frequency on the existing New York (JFK)<\/a>\u2013 Doha (DOH) route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 29-year-old airline currently serves this route twice a day. In total, it operates 14X weekly flights. Further, the airline has a codeshare with renowned US carrier American Airlines (AA)<\/a>, which also operates one daily flight on this route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline has two daily flights, QR702 and QR704, while it places its codeshare code QR9000. The middle east carrier deploys its Airbus<\/a> A350-900 and Boeing<\/a> 777-300ER in this sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But this is going to change soon as Qatar Airways plans to add one more daily flight to its existing 2X daily. So now, it will have three daily flights starting October 29, 2023, reports Ishrion Aviation<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, American Airlines (AA) will drop this route the next day the QR will add a third flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, to add more capacity amid rising travel demands, Qatar Airways will deploy all its Boeing 777-300ER for 3X daily flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
