DOHA-<\/strong> Earlier this year, leading Gulf carrier Qatar Airways (QR)<\/a> entered into a fresh agreement with Formula One (F1), taking over as the official airline partner from its Gulf rival Emirates (EK)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To mark this newly established collaboration, Qatar Airways unveiled a unique Formula One F1 special livery on its flagship Boeing 777<\/a> aircraft, precisely on the 777-300ER.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qatar Airways F1 Livery<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After much anticipation, the awaited unveiling finally occurred a few days ago, as the airline released a brief video across all its social media channels, even though the aircraft had been adorned with the new colors for the past two weeks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In contrast to the initial widespread assumption that the special livery would adorn the airline’s flagship Airbus A350<\/a> or the Boeing 787 Dreamliner<\/a>, it was, in fact, one of its Boeing <\/a>777-300ERs that was selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With registration A7-BEL, this Boeing widebody had last operated under the standard Qatar Airways livery on July 18th before undergoing a two-week temporary grounding in Doha to apply the new sporting livery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
