ATLANTA-<\/strong> Delta Air Lines (DL)<\/a> and Kenya Airways (KQ)<\/a> are enhancing their strategic collaboration to encompass Kenya Airways’ direct Nairobi to New York route, starting from August 5, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This expanded partnership not only grants travelers increased travel choices between the U.S. and Africa but also provided access to 31 supplementary single-connect destinations within Africa and another 57 across the U.S. and Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta and Kenya Partnership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In addition to benefiting from the most direct route and an extended range of travel connections, both Delta SkyMiles members and Kenya Airways’ Asante Rewards members will retain the ability to accumulate miles through this enhancement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tickets for this arrangement can be obtained through various channels and trade or corporate avenues such as travel agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alain Bellemare, Delta’s President of International, stated, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“In a period characterized by unprecedented travel demand between North America and Africa, expanding our strategic collaboration with Kenya Airways not only provides travelers with more travel choices but also aligns with our priority to strengthen our presence across the African continent further.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Allan Kilavuka, CEO of Kenya Airways PLC, elucidated that this latest expansion aims to bolster connectivity between Africa and the United States while providing direct access to Kenya Airways’ services through its American partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This extension of the codeshare arrangement holds historical significance, not only enabling Kenya Airways to expand its presence in the U.S. market and facilitating seamless travel on a single ticket for individuals journeying for business, leisure, or education. New York Nairobi Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

KQ currently offers daily flights from Nairobi, Kenya, to the U.S. via JFK Airport in New York. Delta has operated nonstop service between Africa and the United States since 2006. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta currently operates flights from Accra, Ghana; Dakar, Senegal; Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa; and Lagos, Nigeria. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
