CAGAYAN-<\/strong> The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has confirmed that a Cessna <\/a>152 plane carrying two individuals on its way from Laoag in Ilocos Norte to Tuguegarao in Cagayan has gone missing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to CAAP, they received an “INCERFA” message, indicating uncertainty about the safety of the aircraft and its passengers, from Tuguegarao flight service station (FSS) at 2:37 p.m. on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cessna Plane Goes Missing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Tuguegarao Flight Service Station (FSS) collaborated with aviation authorities in Cauayan, Vigan, and Lallo for a search operation, but no information regarding the whereabouts of the Cessna-152 with call sign RPC88598 was obtained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon, a rescue helicopter conducted a search. However, it had to be suspended due to adverse weather conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As stated by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), the search and rescue efforts are scheduled to resume tomorrow morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To comply with the Data Privacy Act, CAAP has mentioned to CNN<\/a><\/em> that the details of the individuals on board cannot be disclosed at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
