The agreement aims to show appreciation and respect to the members while acknowledging their professionalism and hard work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oestreich highlighted that the new industry-leading agreement includes wage increases that duly compensate the Members for their expertise and skill sets related to Boeing 737 aircraft. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With these wage increases, Southwest Airlines can attract and retain a proficient and talented workforce, facilitating the company&#8217;s growth and success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This agreement covers 2,870 Mechanics and Related Employees at Southwest, encompassing Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, Aircraft Inspectors, Maintenance Controllers, Training Instructors, and Ground Support Equipment Technicians. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement becomes amendable on August 16, 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay tuned with us.
