DOHA-<\/strong> July 18, 2023, marks the inauguration of Qatar Airways (QR)<\/a> ‘s new direct flight, connecting Doha (DOH)<\/a>, Qatar, to Toulouse (TLS), France. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This addition further expands the airline’s network in France, following recent launches to Nice (NCE) and Lyon (LYS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qatar Airways Inaugural Flight Lands at Toulouse<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hamad International Airport (DOH) passengers enjoyed French delicacies and music before boarding the inaugural flight, QR047. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esteemed guests onboard included Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, and the Ambassador of France to the State of Qatar, His Excellency Mr. Jean-Baptiste Faivre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight received a warm welcome in Toulouse, with His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Jassem Al Thani and Mr. Philippe Cr\u00e9bassa, Chairman of the Board of Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Operated by an Airbus <\/a>A330-200, the new direct service offers 24 Business Class seats and 236 Economy Class seats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passengers on the inaugural flight were treated to a French-curated dining menu. Further indulging in the luxurious Pierre Herm\u00e9 macarons and various giveaways to celebrate the launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Promising Collaborative Opportunities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, H.E. Mr. Akbar Al Baker, and Mr. Philippe Cr\u00e9bassa, Chairman of the Board of Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, held a press conference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They announced the national carrier’s expansion in the French market. Subsequently, talked about the potential collaborative opportunities between the two exciting cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our new routes, such as Toulouse, Nice, and Lyon, consolidate Qatar Airways’ position as one of the leading carriers in France,” said His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker. Further highlighting the strengthened trade, tourism, and commercial links between the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Philippe Cr\u00e9bassa expressed pride in the opening of the route. He stated, “The Doha hub will facilitate our French and international customers’ connections with Asia, Africa, and Oceania. This opening also creates new international air freight transport opportunities from Toulouse.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
