DELHI-<\/strong> TATA SIA Vistara (UK) Airlines’<\/a> last and only Boeing<\/a> 737 in the fleet will perform its last flight on July 26 from Cochin Airport (COK), Kochi, to Delhi (DEL)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the aircraft is likely to be taken back by its lessor BOC Aviation. However, at the time of writing, whether it will be transferred to its sister carrier, Air India Express (IX)<\/a>, or operated by another operator is not evident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vistara’s last Boeing 737 flight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to a source, the Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines (SQ)<\/a> backed Vistara is streamlining its fleet. Further, to ease the merger process with Air India (AI)<\/a>, Vistara is standardizing the fleet similar to AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last Boeing 737 aircraft standing in UK Fleet is registered as VT-TGE<\/strong>. As per Planspotters.net<\/em>, the aircraft is 9.9 years old and is deliver to Vistara in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, the aircraft was part of India’s leading former full-service carrier Jet Airways (9W)<\/a>. But after it ceased its operation more than four years ago, on April 19, 2019, BOC transferred aircraft to the Vistara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft found its new home in India itself, but after its retirement from Vistara, it might or might not serve India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, Vistara deploys the last Boeing 737b VT-TGE on DEL-COK-DEL and DEL-TRV-DEL sectors. In short, the airline operates four flights in a day, connecting Delhi with Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram (TRV).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Vistara has a fleet of 61 aircraft, with five more aircraft to join the fleet before its merger with AI. This includes 46 A320s, 10 A321s, 1 737 and 4 787s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
