DELHI-<\/strong> Lounge<\/a> users at Delhi Airport’s (DEL)<\/a> Terminal 3 (T3) can now bid farewell to harrowing experiences as the airport authorities have unveiled a new business class lounge, “Encalm Priv\u00e9,” to address the long-standing issues of overcrowding and seat shortages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lounge, currently covering an expansive 22,000 square feet, is set to grow even larger. Subsequently, reaching an impressive 30,000 square feet upon full operation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This makes it the most extensive lounge facility in all of India. Further, it comes as a relief for business class and first-class travelers of partner airlines, who can now enjoy an exclusive experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Credit card users can also access a separate lounge facility at the food court level of T3 International after the security hold area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, the CEO of Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), expressed the airport’s commitment to enhancing passenger experiences at Delhi Airport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the introduction of “Encalm Priv\u00e9,” DIAL has significantly boosted its lounge capacity. Further raised the bar on the quality of services and facilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The state-of-the-art lounge facility aims to deliver a premium travel experience, ensuring passengers’ comfort and convenience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the wake of the Covid pandemic, international travel came to a halt, leading to the closure of several airline lounges at T3. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon the resumption of international travel, the airport faced a pressing issue with limited lounge availability, with only two lounges in operation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Air India (AI)<\/a> lounge struggled to accommodate the increasing number of premium passengers. In contrast, the Encalm lounge, open to eligible credit card holders, experienced long queues during peak flight departure times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, DIAL plans to expand the lounge’s offerings in the near future. Further, it will provide passengers with a spa and fitness center, sleeping pods and nap rooms, a cigar room, a gaming zone, and express laundry and shower facilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lounge already offers an array of amenities, including lounge bays, a bar, and a multi-cuisine buffet. Also, the live food counters, a kids’ play area, a library, and a business center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
