ATLANTA-<\/strong> Delta Air Lines (DL)<\/a> flight from Edinburgh (EDI) to Atlanta (ATL)<\/a> operated by Boeing<\/a> 767 has declared a general emergency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, the flight is getting diverted to Keflavik International Airport (KEF), Iceland. The aircraft has safely landed at KEF; we will keep you posted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta Edinburgh to Atlanta Declares Emergency<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to Flight Radar 24, Delta Air Lines (DL) flight DL35 took off from Edinburgh (EDI) at 1:05 PM UTC. After being airborne for almost one hour, the pilot declared an emergency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the time of the emergency declaration, the flight was over the Atlantic Ocean. Following this, the pilot decided to divert to KEF and safely landed at the KEF at around 4:32 PM UTC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The emergency can be related to navigation or some technical problems to Inflight unruly passengers incident. We will let you know more about it once we have the update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft involved in the incident is Delta Boeing 767-300, registered as N184DN. Further, it is a 30-year-old aircraft that was delivered by Boeing to Delta in 1993.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
