FORT WORTH-<\/strong> Miami International Airport (MIA)<\/a> is set to experience a warmer winter as American Airlines (AA)<\/a> announces its continued growth with the addition of seven new routes and a brand-new international destination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This move solidifies America’s position as the largest airline at MIA, offering service to an impressive 150 destinations with over 380 peak-day flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

American Airlines adds more ways to visit Miami <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Juan Carlos Liscano, American Vice President of MIA Hub Operations, expressed pride in the airline’s long 30-year history at Miami International Airport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Liscano stated, “American is proud to serve as the hometown airline, providing our customers with an unparalleled network that includes unique destinations like Governor’s Harbour, Bahamas; Anguilla; and Sacramento, California.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This investment in MIA, the undisputed gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean, is a source of pride for America’s 14,000 locally-based team members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

American Airlines operates flights from MIA to more than 85 distinctive destinations, including over 45 in Latin America and the Caribbean. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With connections to over 70 destinations across the U.S., American offers the most convenient way for customers to explore all that Miami has to offer and seamless access to the largest network of destinations across Latin America and the Caribbean among U.S. airlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enhanced Service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As of February 3, American Airlines will become the sole U.S. carrier offering nonstop flights from MIA to Governor’s Harbour, Bahamas (GHB). The service will be available twice weekly and operated using Embraer E175 aircraft. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Routes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This addition complements the airline’s existing winter schedule for the Bahamas, which already includes up to 14 daily departures to six destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the new Bahamas route, American Airlines will expand its winter schedule from MIA to Latin America and the Caribbean. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travelers can now enjoy more than 140 peak-day departures to over 70 destinations, including Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR); Cartagena, Colombia (CTG); and Tortola, British Virgin Islands (EIS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
