ORLANDO, FLORIDA-<\/strong> LATAM Airlines Colombia (4C)<\/a> and Delta Air Lines (DL)<\/a> have launched a nonstop daily operation between Bogota and Orlando, Florida, as part of their commercial agreement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This four-hour service connects the Colombian capital with a popular family-friendly entertainment destination and provides access to Delta’s extensive network of U.S. destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta and LATAM Announce New Bogota-Orlando Service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To mark this significant milestone in their joint venture agreement, authorities, special guests, and customers from both airlines came together for an inaugural event at Bogot\u00e1’s El Dorado Airport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event celebrated the departure of one of the flights to Orlando and highlighted the strategic importance of delivering direct connectivity with exceptional service to Colombian passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camilo Prieto, Commercial Manager of LATAM Airlines Colombia, emphasized the importance of the United States as a key international destination for Colombian travelers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subsequently, the new Bogota-Orlando service aligns with their strategy of providing secure and award-winning direct connectivity to meet customer needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delta already operates two daily flights between Bogota and Atlanta and has recently announced an additional route from Cartagena to Atlanta starting December 22. LATAM also offers service between Bogota and New York-JFK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gianmarco Mazzetti, Delta Sales Manager for Colombia, expressed how this new service operated by LATAM will expand their international operations and provide passengers with the best connections between North and South America for business and leisure travel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The launch of the Bogota-Orlando route reflects Colombia’s progress in promoting the country as an attractive destination for airlines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the implementation of their strategic joint venture agreement in October 2022, Delta and the LATAM group have significantly increased their capacity between the United States and South America. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement has seen a 75% capacity increase, making it the top joint venture in terms of market share and passenger volume between New York, Los Angeles, and key South American destinations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement has also doubled capacity from Delta’s Atlanta hub and nearly doubled capacity to LATAM hubs in select South American countries. With over 300 destinations available, this agreement provides customers faster and more convenient connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
