British Airways Passenger Stabs Fellow Traveler<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The altercation began as a heated argument between two individuals during the eight-hour, 39-minute flight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tensions escalated rapidly, culminating in one of the men, wearing a bucket hat, entering the crew kitchen area and shattering a glass bottle. Further, the shards flew across the galley, endangering the food and beverage preparation staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Returning to the cabin, the aggressor physically coped with his rival. Subsequently, inflicting wounds as the sharp glass fragments pierced the victim’s skin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amidst the chaos, the assailant also struck an overhead cabin. Further causing blood to drip down the interior of the plane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Photos shared with The Sun<\/em> depict the harrowing ordeal witnessed by horrified passengers on Flight BA2159<\/strong> to the picturesque Caribbean destination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The crew valiantly intervened, grappling with the brawling individuals and successfully restraining them. The gruesome spectacle shook her, and other passengers stepped in to help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the pilot of the Boeing 777 jet promptly contacted the authorities and requested police and medical emergency teams to meet the aircraft upon landing, which occurred at 1:55 PM on Monday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon arrival in St Lucia, local police detained both individuals for questioning. An inside source revealed, “It was a truly frightening experience for the crowded passengers. There was a lot of understandable upset. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The men were arguing throughout the flight after take-off from Gatwick Airport. The row turned into pushing and shoving; things suddenly got really nasty.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The witness continued, “It was horrifying when the passenger broke the bottle and then used the shards as a weapon. Suddenly there was blood in the cabin. No one knew how gruesome it was going to get. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Witnessing that in such a confined space and not knowing if or how the bloodshed was going to end was horrific. Some brave individuals separated the two men and got them back in their seats. It could have been so much worse.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a video obtained by The Sun, a courageous stewardess positioned herself between the brawling individuals, demonstrating exceptional bravery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, images taken on board the plane reveal the aftermath of the altercation, including bloodstains, broken glass on an overhead cabin, and scattered shards in the restricted kitchen galley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The injured passenger, seen in one photo wearing a blood-stained vest, received immediate medical attention for a stab wound near his shoulder. British Airways staff utilized their in-flight emergency first aid kit to administer aid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
