PHOENIX-<\/strong> American Airlines (AA)<\/a> has announced its plans to increase its flights at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) starting this November. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline will add over 25 daily departures, offering more flight options for travelers. Additionally, American Airlines will introduce a new nonstop service from Phoenix to Jacksonville, FL (JAX). Subsequently making it the airline’s fourth nonstop destination in the Sunshine State. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the airline will resume nonstop service to Wichita, KS (ICT) after a gap of more than three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

American Airlines Phoenix Airport Winter Schedule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sophia Philis-Ortiz, Vice President of PHX Hub Operations, expressed their commitment to serving customers by providing more flight choices and seat capacity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

American Airlines will operate over 12% more daily flights this winter than last winter. Further allowing for nearly 4% more seats. This expansion aims to cater to the increasing demand for travel and accommodate passengers’ preferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The announcement of American Airlines’ largest winter schedule in almost a decade reflects their confidence in the Phoenix market. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chad Makovsky, Director of Aviation Services for the City of Phoenix Aviation Department, praised American Airlines’ continued growth and investment in Phoenix. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Makovsky also highlighted the excitement surrounding the new nonstop service to Jacksonville, FL. Subsequently, it opens up a previously untapped market for Phoenix travelers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
