GURUGRAM-<\/strong> According to authorities, the SpiceJet (SG)<\/a> office in Udyog Vihar experienced a distressing incident when a bomb threat call <\/a>is received on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the police officer, the call was received on a landline number of the airline on 22 June Thursday late evening. The caller said he had planted a bomb in the office, and it would explode soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The caller explicitly claimed to have placed an explosive device within the office premises, mentioning its imminent detonation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response, the Udyog Vihar police station promptly dispatched a team comprising a bomb disposal squad. Further, a dog squad to search the office thoroughly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following an extensive search that lasted close to two hours, the police have confirmed that no suspicious item is discovered at the office. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The authorities have declared that the incident is a false alarm initiated by an anonymous individual to instill fear. Subsequently, an FIR (First Information Report) has been lodged at the Udyog Vihar police station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The search operation concluded without the detection of any explosive device. According to the company representative’s complaint, the incident is reported and recorded on Thursday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The unidentified caller’s contact number has been under surveillance, and a thorough investigation is underway,” stated Anil Kumar, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Udyog Vihar police station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similar Incident at Delhi Airport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Azeem Khan, a male passenger from Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh, apprehended at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport <\/a>by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The arrest occurred following a complaint by a female co-passenger on a Vistara flight bound for Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The woman reported overhearing Azeem Khan mention a ‘bomb’ during a phone conversation. The CISF detained him, and subsequently, the Delhi Police arrested him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the incident occurred on June 7th, no evidence is found after the investigation. Azeem Khan has been issued a notice and allowed to leave, with the possibility of being called for further questioning if required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
