PARIS-<\/strong> Flag carrier of Mauritius, Air Mauritius (MK), has officially placed an order for three Airbus (EPA: AIR)<\/a> A350 aircraft to enhance its presence in Europe and South Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By adding these three state-of-the-art planes, Air Mauritius will expand its A350 fleet to a total of seven. In addition to its existing fleet of four A350 and four A330 Airbus aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Mauritius Orders three Airbus A350 at Paris Air Show<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Kresimir Kucko, CEO of Air Mauritius, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership between Air Mauritius and Airbus, which spans three decades. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stated, “Air Mauritius is proud to renew its confidence in Airbus and its products. Further continuing a three-decade-long partnership.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The additional A350-900 aircraft will help us strengthen our European network and secure further growth in other markets. We are looking forward to achieving our ambitious objectives together with Airbus,” added Mr. Kucko<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christian Scherer, Chief Commercial Officer and Head of International at Airbus applauded Air Mauritius for prioritizing the A350 in its long-haul fleet modernization plan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stated, “With greater range capability, better economics, passenger capacity, and comfort, the A350 is the perfect platform to connect the beautiful island of Mauritius to the world.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
