LIEGE, BELGIUM-<\/strong> Flag carrier of Ethiopia, Ethiopian Airlines<\/a> Cargo (ET) flight from Liege Airport (LGG) in Belgium to Shanghai (PVG) operating Boeing 777F has declared an Emergency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ethiopian flight ET3748, after approx 25 minutes from takeoff, declared an emergency. Further, the aircraft involved in the incident is Boeing <\/a>777F, registered ET-APU. The aircraft is more than 10 years old, and the airline took delivery in October 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ethiopian Boeing 777F Emergency<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to Flight Radar 24<\/a><\/em>, the Ethiopian flight ET3748 took off from LGG at 6:51 AM UTC. The flight is scheduled to Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) and is expected to land there after 10 hours and 30 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, after 20-25 minutes from takeoff, the pilot declared a general emergency. Further, the pilot reduced the plane’s altitude, and then after getting ATC clearance, the plane turned back to LPG at the time of writing this article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exact reason for the incident is not known. It can be anything from engine problems and in-flight incidents to a technical snag. Further, the aircraft is en route back to LPG, and we hope they make a safe landing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

British Airways LAX-LHR Flight Declares Emergency<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The UK Flag carrier British Airways (BA)<\/a> flight from Los Angeles (LAX) to London Heathrow (LHR) has declared an emergency. Further, the airline is operating Boeing<\/a> 777 between this route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Flight Radar 24<\/em>, the flight tracking website, the British Airways flight BA268 has been showing the squawk 7700, which means an emergency situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BA268 flight took off from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) at 4:12 AM UTC. Further, the aircraft is airborne for almost 10 hours and covers a distance of 8780 KM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subsequently, the Flight landed at Heathrow International Airport (LHR) in London at around 3:20 PM UTC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft involved in the incident is Boeing 777-300 ER, registered G-STBJ. The London-based carrier delivered G-STBJ in March 2014 and is now 9.6 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
