DOHA, QATAR-<\/strong> Qatar Airways<\/a> Cargo resumed services to Tokyo’s Haneda Airport last week. The weekly tonnage available for travel to and from Japan now totals 600 tonnes each way, thanks to the resumed passenger flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of Tokyo’s exports comprise general cargo, followed by dangerous items and more vulnerable cargo. The general cargo, fish, seafood, fruits, and vegetables that are imported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From May 30th, the airline added four weekly passenger flights on the Airbus A320 between Doha and Sarajevo, each with a cargo capacity of six tonnes per week. In addition to vulnerable cargo and pharmaceuticals, commodities mostly consist of general freight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qatar Airways Cargo Restart Flights <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On May 9, the airline resumed passenger service to Nice. General cargo, hazardous materials, and pharmaceuticals are among the exports flying out of Nice; on the import side, general cargo, hazardous materials, vulnerable cargo, and other sorts of cargo are brought in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cargo carrier’s weekly cargo capacity to and from France rises to 1,100 tonnes per way with freighters to Lyon and Paris as well as belly-hold flights to Nice and Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the A320 passenger flights, 11 tonnes of cargo space are available each week, each way, for customers of the cargo service. Daily flights to Bahrain began on May 25. As of May, Qatar Airways Cargo has also broadened its network across the Middle East. To increase the weekly tonnage to 350 tonnes each way, the airline sent two Boeing 777 freighters to Dammam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the quadruple-daily passenger flights, a new freighter frequency was added to Riyadh, increasing the total frequency to five Boeing 777 freighters per week. This adds to the city’s capability for cargo of over 850 tonnes per way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
