GUWAHATI-<\/strong> On Sunday morning (June 3, 2023), India’s largest carrier, IndiGo (6E)<\/a> flight bound for Dibrugarh make an emergency landing at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati, Assam. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The emergency landing is prompted by a technical glitch experienced by the aircraft. Further, the IndiGo Flight 6E2652<\/strong> landed in Guwahati and have the Minister of State in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas of India on board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IndiGo Emergency Landing at Guwahati<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to Radar Box, the flight tracking website, the IndiGo flight 6E2652 is bound for Dibrugarh. Further, the aircraft took off from Guwahati International Airport (GAU) at 8:35 AM IST. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After being airborne for a few minutes, the plane returned to GAU following technical issues. The plane is bound for the Dibrugarh Airport (DIB), and Rameshwar Teli, Union minister, was onboard the flight along with two MLAs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aircraft involved in the incident is Airbus<\/a> A320neo. Further, it has the registration VT-IZF and is four year and six months old aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plane landed safely back at Guwahati airport, and More details are awaited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IndiGo Dubai Flight Experienced Bird Strike<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As the aircraft entered the runway from the taxiway, IndiGo Airlines Flight 6E 1467 (IXE-DXB) experienced a bird strike incident, as reported by an airport spokesperson. The pilot promptly informed the Air Traffic Control (ATC) and safely returned to the apron at 8.30 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the incident, the 160 passengers on board were disembarked, and the aircraft underwent a comprehensive engineering inspection as it was declared \u2018aircraft on the ground.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ensure the passengers\u2019 continuity of travel, they were later accommodated on another IndiGo aircraft that had arrived from Bengaluru. The rescheduled Dubai flight departed at 11.05 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IndiGo has also arranged alternative travel arrangements for the 165 passengers. They were initially scheduled to fly to Bengaluru on flight 6E 5347, with a scheduled departure time of 9.10 a.m (All times are in IST).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight is live and will land at Dubai International Airport at 12:21 PM IST. Further, the aircraft that is now flying towards DXB is VT-IJB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
