As of May 28, 2023, according to the listing, TATA SIA Vistara (UK) Airlines<\/a> flight numbers with the UK code are being displayed on the Lufthansa flights as part of Lufthansa<\/a> Flight Information (FLIFO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vistara is the Indian FSC, formed by a Joint venture between Tata and Singapore Airlines (SQ)<\/a>. Further, the airline has a fleet of 61 aircraft, including Boeing 787s, Airbus A320neo,s and A321neos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, the Lufthansa Group is a global aviation group that operates worldwide. Further, it comprises a workforce of 109,509 employees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subsequently, the Lufthansa Group achieved a revenue of EUR 32,770 million in the fiscal year 2022. The Lufthansa Group comprises three segments: Network Airlines, Eurowings, and Aviation Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vistara Lufthansa Intra-Europe<\/strong> Codeshare<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the recent schedule filing with the OAG, the German Flag carrier Lufthansa (LH) has submitted flight numbers. Designated for the UK on specific intra-European flights to and from Frankfurt, reported Aeroroutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vistara, in partnership with Lufthansa, will operate the flights from Frankfurt to various destinations, including Amsterdam, Berlin, Budapest, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Helsinki, Lisbon, Munich, Oslo, Prague, Rome Fiumicino, and Stockholm Arlanda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note that reservations for these codeshare flights are currently pending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UK-LH<\/strong> Codeshare <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On February 19, 2019, Vistara and Lufthansa announced signing a codeshare agreement. Further enhancing their existing interline partnership. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This agreement allows frequent fliers of both airlines to earn miles\/points when they travel on each other’s networks, along with other associated benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under this collaboration, Lufthansa assign its ‘LH’ designator code to around 126 weekly flights operated by Vistara. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These flights serve 9 cities in India from New Delhi, including 6 newly designated virtual Lufthansa destinations: Ahmedabad, Goa, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kochi, and Pune. Furthermore, the LH code will also be applied to Vistara flights connecting Delhi-Mumbai and Bengaluru-Chennai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of this collaboration, Vistara passengers traveling to Frankfurt will now have the opportunity to access convenient rail connections to 24 destinations across Germany. Deutsche Bahn will provide the railway services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
