According to an official, an AirAsia<\/a> flight with a destination of Kuala Lumpur made an emergency landing at Chennai International Airport on Thursday night after a passenger reported experiencing chest pain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flight was leaving Jeddah with roughly 278 people. The complaint, an Indonesian national named Buhari DT Jinto (64), who was on board the aircraft, suddenly reported chest trouble on Thursday night while it was flying above Chennai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, the flight attendants told the pilots. The aircraft’s landing at Chennai International Airport <\/a>was decided upon right away by the pilots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chief pilot then promptly got in touch with the control room at Chennai airport and explained the predicament. He asked for permission for an urgent landing of the plane. In this regard, the Chennai Control Room representatives contacted the chief Delhi Control Room and reported the circumstance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The authorities then gave the go-ahead for the plane to land in Chennai right away and gave them the go-ahead to provide the passenger with the required medical care. The medical staff from the airport entered the aircraft to evaluate the passenger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The traveler didn’t have a visa to enter India, but the officials said he needed to be hospitalized immediately. On the basis of humanitarian concerns, Chennai airport immigration officials granted the Indonesian traveler an emergency medical visa. He was then transported by ambulance from Chennai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The traveler is currently receiving medical attention. According to government sources, his transfer to Chennai’s Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital for additional care is reportedly in the works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a written notification from the AirAsia pilot to the Indonesian Embassy, the Indonesian passenger has been admitted to a Chennai hospital for emergency medical care. Then, with 277 people on board, the plane departed from Chennai for Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to an official from Air India at the airport, a medical emergency occurred on Wednesday at around 11 PM during the flight, and despite the crew providing all possible assistance, the passenger passed away onboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Airport sources state that the pilots had informed the airport authorities before the flight landed at approximately 7:30 am on Thursday. The woman\u2019s body was then transported via an ambulance to the airport hospital. There it was later transferred to a government hospital for an autopsy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
