On Friday, Campbell Wilson, the CEO of Air India (AI)<\/a>, announced that since the year’s beginning, the airline and Air India Express had hired more than 3900 personnel, including more than 500 pilots and 2,400 cabin crew members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the direction of Tata Group, Air India is modernizing the airline industry, increasing employment, and growing its fleet and operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air India and AIX hired 3900 Staff<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“Since the year began, more than 500 pilots, 2,400 cabin crew, and 1,000 other staff members have been hired across AI and AIX. Wilson wrote in a message to the staff of Air India on Friday, “We also witnessed our 1,000th new cabin crew of the year commences operational duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with visiting the nation and developing the new Air Indians, he added that the teams had done a fantastic job stepping up recruitment and training skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to third-party staff, Air India (AI) and Air India Express (AIX) employ roughly 1,900 individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CEO Insights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The airline has begun a five-year makeover aiming to enhance its market share in both the local and international segments by increasing routes, flights, and customer base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has also given solid orders to Boeing and Airbus for 470 aircraft, including both narrow- and wide-body models. Last month, The airline said it would hire more than 1,000 pilots<\/strong> and that more than 500 new planes would join its fleet over the following several years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are offering multiple opportunities and accelerated growth across our A320, B777, B787, and B737 fleet for captains and first officers, as well as trainers,” it stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The full-service airline merger of Air India and Vistara and the merging of the two low-cost airlines, Air India Express and AIX Connect (formerly known as AirAsia India), are now underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air India and Singapore Airlines have partnered to form Vistara. In January of last year, the Tata Group acquired Air India and Air India Express ownership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
