However, there is no information available about the identities of the three missing individuals or their connection to the Navy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>San Clemente Island, which the U.S. Navy owns<a href=\"https:\/\/www.military.com\/equipment\/navy-aircraft\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">,<\/a> is situated approximately 80 miles west of San Diego. The cause of the crash is yet to be determined, and specific details regarding the incident are not clear at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initial report from the Navy\u2019s Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Facility indicates an emergency onboard the Learjet.
