DELHI-<\/strong> Tata-owned Air India, one of India’s leading airlines and a member of the Star Alliance, is set to launch non-stop flights between Delhi and Amsterdam as part of its efforts to enhance connectivity and expand globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting from June 11, 2023, the flight will be operated four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Using a two-class Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. Air India is the only Indian carrier that operates direct flights between these two cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air India Delhi to Amsterdam Non-Stop Flights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This makes Amsterdam the eighth continental European city served by Air India and the fourth European destination connected to Delhi in the last four months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this addition, Air India now offers 77 weekly non-stop flights between India and Europe. Subsequently providing passengers with greater flexibility and convenience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air India’s CEO & MD, Mr Campbell Wilson, expressed his thoughts on introducing the new route. Subsequently, stating that it provides more choices to customers and expands Air India’s long-haul network. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The launch of this non-stop flight to Amsterdam and the recent addition of three other European routes strengthens the airline’s goal of establishing Delhi as a significant international hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner has a seating capacity of 256 passengers. Further, with 18 seats in Business Class featuring fully flat beds and 238 seats in Economy Class. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flight AI155 will depart from Delhi at 1310 Hrs and reach Amsterdam at 1835 Hrs (local time). Further, the return flight, AI 156, will depart from Amsterdam at 2045 Hrs and arrive in Delhi at 0810 Hrs (local time).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air India Vistara Interline Agreement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In their partnership agreement, Air India and Vistara will implement Inter Airline Through Check-in (IATCI) to provide guests with a hassle-free travel experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With IATCI, passengers can receive their boarding passes and check their baggage through to their final destination on a single ticket at the first point of departure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This service is available at most major airports in India. As Air India and Vistara operate at the same terminals. Further simplifying the travel experience for guests with interline itineraries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air India and Vistara have also incorporated the \u2018Interline Considerations on Irregular Operations (IROPs)\u2019 or \u2018disruption transfer\u2019 functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This facilitates the seamless transfer of passengers between the two airlines\u2019 first available alternative flights in case of operational disruptions such as delays, cancellations, diversions, etc. This approach minimizes any inconvenience caused to their guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
