The carrier currently has a fleet of four Boeing 787-9 aircraft. Subsequently, after being airborne for almost 5 hours and covering a distance of 4,152 Km, it landed in Singapore. The plane touchdown at Singapore Airport (SIN) at 10:57 Am IST.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the source, the plane will undergo C-check at Singapore MRO maintenance facilities (probably at Singapore Aero Services MRO). Furthermore, the Boeing 787-9 will remain grounded for almost a week and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After completion of maintenance, the plane will ferry back to India and will enter into the service. Further, the Vistara will deploy it on 5 times weekly flights between Mumbai Airport (BOM) and Heathrow Airport (LHR), London. It takes around one to four weeks to complete, and the aircraft cannot leave the maintenance hangar until all tasks specified in the check are completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Operators usually conduct the C-check at their base locations as it requires more space. The Dreamliner has the registration VT-TSP, the fourth aircraft of the Vistara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline deployed VT-TSP on Delhi (DEL) to the Bengaluru Airport (BLR) route. Earlier, the Tata-owned carrier operated its first Airbus A321LR on the same route when it entered the service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Indian carrier took the delivery of VT-TSP on the 30th of last month this year. The special flight resulted in a reduction of approximately 10,000 pounds of CO\u2082 emissions. Vistara\u2019s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and supporting a sustainable future for the aviation industry is evident in this pioneering initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It used a blend of 30% SAF and 70% conventional jet fuel, reducing approximately 150,000 pounds of CO2 emissions over the fuel\u2019s life cycle.
