According to defense sources, an Indian Air Force MiG-21 crashed on Monday in the Hamumangarh district of Rajasthan, but the pilot has been reported as safe. Sources added that the army’s helicopter has arrived at the scene to conduct rescue operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This incident follows a fatal crash in January, where an IAF training exercise involving a Sukhoi Su-30 and a Mirage 2000 resulted in the death of a pilot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While one aircraft crashed in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, the other crashed in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Earlier this month, an Indian Army chopper also crashed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another accident occurred in Kochi in April, where a Coast Guard helicopter crashed during trials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In March of this year, a Navy chopper crashed after carrying out VVIP duties in Mumbai. Last year in October, two army chopper crashes were reported in Arunachal Pradesh. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first incident occurred on October 5, 2022, when a Cheetah helicopter crashed near the Tawang area, killing one Indian Army pilot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just two weeks later, five defense personnel were killed when an Indian Army Aviation Advance Light Helicopter (Weapon Systems Integrated) – ALH WSI crashed near Siang village, 25 kilometers away from the Tuting headquarters in the Upper Siang district of Arunachal on October 21. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On July 28 last year, two twin-seater Mig-21 trainer aircraft pilots died after sustaining fatal injuries when it crashed near Barmer district of Rajasthan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two IAF aircraft crashed on Jan 2023 in Madhya Pradesh\u00a0in what appears to be a mid-air collision. Near Morena, Madhya Pradesh, a\u00a0Sukhoi-30<\/strong>\u00a0and a\u00a0Mirage 2000<\/strong>\u00a0aircraft collided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plane had left the Gwalior air base in the morning. A. K. Verma, a local administrator in Madhya Pradesh. He stated,\u00a0\u201cI can confirm that two aircraft from the Indian Air Force crashed in our jurisdiction. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to preliminary reports,\u00a0one aircraft crashed in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, and another reportedly went down near Bharatpur.
The Mirage jet had one pilot on takeoff, while the Su-30 had two. <\/em>The pilot\u2019s condition is still a mystery.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
